Through a safe, sealed decomposition process, the Carbon Recycler captures carbon dioxide and ammonia — preventing them from entering the atmosphere and turning them into a valuable resource for your garden.

⚙️ What’s Included?

Your Carbon Recycler™ kit comes with:

  • 121 L wheelie bin with two safety bars and spigot
  • Water inlet
  • Connection hose
  • Float with rod
  • Overflow hose with one-way valve
  • Filter basket with spigot hole
  • Two connection adaptors

This kit connects to your existing rain barrel.

🛠️ How It Works

  1. Add fresh grass clippings to the sealed wheelie bin.
  2. The grass begins to decompose, releasing CO2 and ammonia.
  3. These gases travel through the connection hose into the rain barrel.
  4. The gases dissolve into the water, creating a natural carbon-nitrogen fertilizer.
  5. After 2–3 days, this water can be used to fertilize your garden or lawn.

Over the next two weeks, the grass continues to break down. After this period, you can safely remove the spent clippings following the instructions in the manual.

As grass decomposes, it naturally emits CO2.
The Carbon Recycler captures that CO2 before it escapes into the atmosphere, absorbing it into water instead.

🔒 Safety Features

The Carbon Recycler is designed with built-in safety bars, preventing accidental entry into the bin.
Always keep the lid closed and avoid leaning into the container, as CO2 is odorless and can displace oxygen.

🌱 Using the Fertilizer

The captured liquid can be used for:
